Pancheros Mexican Grill Hits Franchising Milestones

Rising Mexican fast-casual franchise has much to celebrate as it expands across the country

Pancheros Mexican Grill is spicing up the fast-casual sector as the brand announced the achievement of three significant franchising milestones.

Indicative of the brand’s growing presence and success in both new and existing markets across the country, the trifecta of franchise achievements first kicked off with the brand’s first annual franchisee conference, which was held September 18-20 in Chicago.

The three-day conference included extensive training, educational seminars and opportunities to discuss best practices across the franchise system. The national conference brought Pancheros franchisees and corporate team members from across the country together for the first time to celebrate the brand’s system-wide successes, including a “Franchisee of the Year Award” which was given to Pancheros franchise owner Lou Kathrakis in Shelton, Connecticut.

“The first Pancheros National Franchise Conference was a success and truly set forth a precedent for the exchange of best practices across the system,” says Rodney Anderson, Founder and CEO of Pancheros. “Having the opportunity to come together in one place to discuss all aspects related to Pancheros ownership certainly showcased how much talent we have across our franchise system.”

In addition to a successful first franchisee conference, Pancheros is celebrating the brand’s addition to this year’s Franchise Times’ Top 200+ list, which is an exclusive ranking of the 500 largest franchises. This recognition validates the brand’s overall success in the franchising industry across the past year.

Using a combination of companies’ voluntary reports and the most recent franchise disclosure documents, the Franchise Times Top 200+ is an annual ranking of the 500 largest franchise systems in the United States by global system-wide sales, based on the previous year’s performance.

In addition to the Franchise Times Top 200+ list, Pancheros has also been named to the Multi-Unit Franchisee 2018 Multi-Unit 50 list, ranking number 5 in the “Top 50 Brands By Percentage of Multi-Unit Franchisees” category.

“We are humbled to achieve these incredible milestones,” adds Anderson. “As Pancheros continues to grow in our existing markets as well as expand into new ones, we look forward to continuing this momentum.”
